Spain’s Most Multilingual Comedy Festival

Madrid Comedy Festival is built around a simple idea: comedy in Madrid shouldn’t only happen in one language. The 2026 edition runs in seven languages — a number almost no other comedy event in Spain comes close to.

Why it works this way

Madrid’s international population isn’t small, and it isn’t new. MCF exists because its founders — Mehdi Mahtaj and Dzimis “The Greek Dzinious,” both comedians living in the city — noticed that a cosmopolitan city like Madrid had no festival that actually reflected how multilingual it already is. Languages on stage

Expect Spanish, English, French, and more across the lineup, including comedians like Itzi, who performs comfortably in Spanish, English, and French in the same set, and Hassan Fadoul, who brings his stand-up to Arabic, Spanish, and English-speaking crowds alike.

An international lineup

The 2026 edition is targeting around 70 comedians from 25+ nationalities. The first edition, in 2025, sold out every show across the city’s central venues. See the comedians confirmed so far.
