Workshops
Comedy is not only about getting on stage. It is also about learning, writing, trying things, and finding your own voice.
During Madrid Comedy Festival, you can join three different workshops led by experienced comedians. Each one has a different approach, so you can choose what fits you best.
Dan’s Stand-Up Workshop
Saturday, 3 October · 15:30–18:30
A practical workshop for anyone who wants to understand stand-up better and work on their own comedy. You won’t just sit and listen — you’ll work on your material and learn by doing.
Dark Comedy: Turning Your Worst Moments Into Your Best Material
Saturday, 3 October · 15:30–18:30
A hands-on writing workshop about using difficult, personal, or taboo subjects to create comedy. Learn how to turn the things you normally wouldn’t talk about into material that can make people laugh.
Blueprint with Iain Anderson
Sunday, 4 October · 15:30–18:30
Join Iain Anderson for a workshop exploring the art of the “Tragic-Comic” memoir. A chance to work on personal stories and discover how real experiences can become strong comedy material.
